The Objective
Answer 20 randomly selected Bible questions as accurately and quickly as possible to climb the leaderboard and become the champion!
Gameplay & Scoring
The Questions
You will receive 20 questions, each randomly worth 2, 4, or 6 points. You have a maximum of 60 seconds to answer each one.
Correct Answers
You earn the full point value of the question! The time it took you to answer (up to a maximum of 30 seconds) is added to your total game time.
Wrong Answers
Half of the question\'s point value is deducted from your score (don\'t worry, your score won\'t drop below 0). A 30-second penalty is added to your total time.
Running Out of Time
If you take longer than 60 seconds to answer, it counts as a wrong answer. You lose half the question\'s points and receive a full 60-second penalty.
Winning the Tournament
To qualify as a finalist, you must complete all 20 questions. The leaderboard is ranked in the following order of importance:
- Most correct answers (1st priority).
- Most total points (used to break ties).
- Lowest total time (final tie-breaker).
Weekly Tournaments
The Bible Marathon is a weekly competition! The tournament officially begins every Sunday and concludes on Saturday. At the start of a new week, the game resets and you get a fresh opportunity to climb to the top of the leaderboard.
Language Tournaments
The Portuguese and English versions of the game are completely independent. You are free to play in both languages! The Standings tab allows you to view the leaderboards for each language separately.
Multiple Tries
Not happy with your score? You are allowed up to 5 tries during the week. Your best attempt (most correct answers, highest points, lowest time) will be the one recorded on the final tournament leaderboard.
